特注金物×デジファブで実現した、ポリゴン形状のDJブース
A polygonal DJ booth realized with custom metalwork and digital fabrication
渋谷のゲームチェンジャースタジオ「EDGEof」の2Fスペース「EDGEof Crossing」に設置するDJブースの製作プロジェクト。ターンテーブルとスピーカーの配置からアーチ型の形状とし、多面体でありながら曲面に近い形状とした。
A polygonal DJ booth realized with custom metalwork and digital fabrication
A project to make a DJ booth for EDGEof Crossing, the second-floor space of the game-changer studio EDGEof in Shibuya. The arched form derives from the arrangement of the turntables and speakers, and although polyhedral, it approximates a curved surface.

渋谷のEDGEof Crossingに設置したDJブース。三角形に分割した木製パネルと金物の骨格で、多面体でありながら曲面に近いアーチ形状をつくっている。

The DJ booth installed at EDGEof Crossing in Shibuya. Triangulated wood panels and a metal frame form an arch that, although polyhedral, approximates a curved surface.

施工プロセス
Construction Process

アーチ型の形状をもとに構造解析を行い、形状を最適化した。ShopBotの二次元切削で三角形に分割したパネルを製作し、骨格となる金物は株式会社HIRAMIYAが製作した。

金物の骨格はHIRAMIYAの工房で、鋼板を曲げ加工・溶接して組み上げた。

Construction Process

Structural analysis was carried out on the arch to optimize its form. Triangular panels were produced by two-dimensional cutting with ShopBot, and the metal frame was made by HIRAMIYA Co., Ltd.

At the HIRAMIYA workshop, the metal frame was assembled by bending and welding steel plates.
