EMARF (https://emarf.co/), a cloud-based timber precut service, is launching the alpha version of “EMARF AI,” a ChatGPT-powered tool for creating original furniture. It is available to everyone for one month only, starting at 12:00 on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

“EMARF AI” is a custom furniture-making tool: simply enter your preferred design and requests in the AI chat, and the AI automatically creates original furniture for you.

For people without design skills, the options for buying furniture have been limited: either choose something close to their needs from ready-made products, or commission a craftsperson to make it to order. The former offers limited choice, while the latter takes time and money and is often ruled out.

“EMARF AI” is an entirely new custom furniture-making tool that breaks through this situation, making it possible to get your ideal furniture cheaply, easily and quickly. Because what users imagine is automatically turned into a 3D model through dialogue with AI, even people without design skills can take part in the process from design to fabrication, experiencing the shaping of their ideal furniture with their own hands. Joints and other details are also generated automatically, so you can complete original furniture simply by assembling parts that have been cut exactly according to the 3D model.

Many people with specialized skills are involved in the process from making furniture to selling it. EMARF AI, however, can automatically complete the process from design to fabrication orders online, so anyone with a smartphone can make and sell original furniture on their own.
