A rule-free testing ground for picnics
At TOKYO MIDTOWN OPEN THE PARK 2023, held from April 21 to May 28, 2023, VUILD handled content planning, spatial design, and workshops for “Picnic Lab,” themed around experimental picnics. Rules and ways of playing were kept to a minimum so that visitors could picnic freely. Working with the client, Tokyo Midtown, the project incorporated mechanisms for visitors to take part in shaping the space.
