02 Process
It was completed in February 2019.
2019年2月に竣工した。
It was made from as few solid wood boards as possible, with base plates custom laser-cut to fit each column. Tenryu cedar from Tenryu Ward, Hamamatsu, was used and machined with the ShopBot installed on site.
After the foundation work, the machined board columns and roof members were assembled on site. The metal fittings were made by HIRAMIYA Co., Ltd.
無垢材の板から最小限の枚数で製作し、ベースプレートは各柱の形状に合わせてレーザーカッターで特注した。資材には浜松市天竜区産の天竜杉を使用し、現地に設置されたShopBotで加工した。
基礎工事ののち、加工した板柱と屋根材を現場で組み上げた。金物は株式会社ヒラミヤが製作した。
On the west side, exposed to strong winds, board columns are lined up as a windbreak, while the other side opens wide to receive pedestrians.
Plan and roof plan. Five board columns are arranged in an L shape, with board roof members layered on top.
強風が吹く西側には防風壁となるよう板柱を並べ、反対側は歩行者を迎え入れるよう大きく開いた形状とした。
平面図と屋根伏図。5本の板柱をL字型に配置し、その上に板状の屋根材を重ねている。
